As Executive Director, Bird Group of Companies, Dr. Ankur Bhatia provides strategic vision and direction to the group consortium. He manages the diversification charter at Bird Group, a business conglomerate with a turnover in excess of USD 150 million.
With over 40 years of experience in India, Bird Group is amongst the largest and most diversified entities within the industry. With businesses as diverse as pioneering back-office processing to representing many of the world’s leading airlines, Bird Group has ensured that a comprehensive portfolio of services offering have been created to add value to an extensive client base and woo potential customers. Dr. Bhatia elaborates, “We have been looking at organic as well as global acquisitions to expand our presence and portfolio and are evaluating opportunities for synergies with our brand offerings. In India, all properties owned and operated by Roseate Hotels & Resorts are greenfield projects.”

Bird Hospitality has plans to acquire more properties and is exploring management prospects in India and international markets such as Europe, Middle East, besides the UK, where we already have an established presence.”
