Hotelogix, an enterprise-grade cloud-based Hotel Property Management System provider, announced the adoption of its multi-property management solution by Ahuja Residences. Armed with Hotelogix, the group looks at achieving effective chain property management across eight of its units with centralised control.
With 35 years of presence in and around four major cities across India, Ahuja Residences runs a variety of properties, including suites, serviced apartments, and managed housings. The group has served over half a million guests and currently operates an inventory of 1300+ rooms. The management at Ahuja Residences decided to select the Hotelogix cloud solution in 2020 when they realised that the on-premises solution they were using lacked many features and functionalities to ensure better multi-property management.
Expressing his views on this issue, Rudra Pratap Singh, Chief Operating Officer at Ahuja Residences, said, “We are a growing and progressive hospitality brand. That’s why it is always in our best interest to choose a hospitality technology partner that understands our needs and empowers us to achieve business growth. Hotelogix’s solution is loaded with everything that we need – right from a Mobile Hotel App, Central Reservation Office, occupancy-based dynamic pricing, centralized guest history, and report scheduler.”
Speaking further about implementation and training, Singh said, “We were a little concerned about the seamless transfer of data from the old PMS to Hotelogix. But the team at Hotelogix made the whole process super smooth. Most importantly, with their post-implementation training, our staff members quickly learned to work on the new application with ease.”
Speaking about the association, Brijesh Surendran, Senior Vice President of Sales at Hotelogix, said, “As a group, Ahuja Residences showed commendable resilience by adding a 97-room property to their growing portfolio in 2020 when the entire hotel industry was reeling under the pressure of the pandemic. Moreover, they quickly understood that future survival depends on how judiciously they choose the right solution at the right time. We wish many more successes to Mr. Singh and his team.”
