Growing awareness around healthy eating and fitness is changing consumer preferences towards healthier snacking options such as popcorn. BRB Popcorn Chips are a healthier alternative to traditional chips and are made using the latest European popping technology. The chips are neither fried, nor baked, but popped. Compared to regular fried chips, Popcorn chips are gluten-free, cholesterol and trans-fat-free, and contain no preservatives or artificial flavours. The chips have a very clean mouthfeel and melt in the mouth leaving behind no residue.

The company is planning to invest a significant sum of around $2 million over the next year in marketing, production capacity and in developing its distribution network for the new snack offering. Owing to the popping technology, BRB chips have 60% less fat compared to regular fried potato chips and have only about 110 calories per serving. Even when compared to baked chips, BRB has around 30% less fat.
