Amit Mehta appointed as Vice President of Operations for Auro Hotels India

Amit will manage all operations across Auro Hotels’ India portfolio, including Surat Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Surat and its future projects

Auro Hotels India has elevated Amit Mehta to the position of Vice President of Operations. Based in Surat, Gujarat, Amit brings close to 28 years of experience in the hospitality industry, where he has worked with brands such as Taj and Marriott. His extensive career includes 23 years of service with Taj Hotels, where he held key roles across Mumbai, Kolkata, New Delhi, Surajkund NCR, and Surat, before transitioning to Marriott.

Amit joined Auro Hotels India in 2019 as Area Director and General Manager at Surat Marriott Hotel, where he played a pivotal role in overseeing the company’s hotel operations and elevating service standards. In his new position as Vice President of Operations, Amit will manage all operations across Auro Hotels’ India portfolio, including Surat Marriott Hotel, Courtyard by Marriott Surat and future projects to expand the company’s footprint in the Indian hospitality market.
