India’s first exportable hospitality brand, Peppermint Hotels, opens its first hotel in the country.

Peppermint Hotels, India’s first exportable hospitality brand – which creates uniquely designed value-priced hotels – opened its first hotel in the country in Gurgaon.

The model is dynamic, and while the hotel will offer the same service and product promises across the country, there will be suitable design changes to cater to the needs of the local micro-market.

Peppermint Gurgaon has a minimum of 46 rooms, theme restaurants, all-day dining, bars, fully equipped banquets and conference facilities, retail areas, state-of-the-art business centers, gymnasiums, wellness facilities, swimming pools and play areas for children.

With a national portfolio that is set to expand rapidly, Currently, Peppermint Hotels is operational in Gurgaon and has 9 hotels under development in cities like Baroda, Kumarakom, Pune, Jodhpur, Jaipur, 2 in Bangalore, Goa and Raipur with 12 to be executed thereafter in multiple cities.

The rooms at all Peppermint Hotel are equipped with all amenities available in any luxury hotel, including LED reading lights, LCD TVs, DVD, iPod docks, wireless & wired internet, rain showers, hair driers, shaving mirrors, feather pillows and custom designed Mint Box beds. All of this is complemented by customized Ally Matthan bath & shower products with the fresh aroma of peppermint and lavender.

Other guest facilities include a 24- hour concierge line. Dial 9 is the Anything-Anytime concierge line, which can be dialed in for anything; DVD on Demand, the Hotel’s in-room Tuck Box which caters to those mid-night munchies; Mint Retail, which is the living room retail concept that has all the quirky products that one really need; MintPoint in which Every guest who stays with the hotel is automatically enrolled; MiniMints are the kiddipacks available at Mint Retail that has all the daily requirements for the child.

The hotel also has an alliance with Lavazza, so that one can buy loose coffee pods to pick and mix your favorite flavors.

Peppermint has also tied up with Wonderline to create unique signature restaurants and hotel bars like Ming Singh, the hotel’s own take on Indian chinese food; Crave that serves the freshest hand-carved sandwiches, soups, desserts and cakes; Aiyayyo comes with food serviced in a modern quick service environment with a variety of south Indian food; Balle Club, which brings you modern Punjabi cooking, cooked in healthy olive oil, without compromising the taste; and Eat Etc , the hotel’s all-day dining concept.
