Ten-day Art Extravaganza
For ten days starting August 24, the Lobby at Vivanta Chennai, IT Expressway will come alive with stunning paintings showcasing varied art forms of Tamil Nadu. The Art Show will feature the works of six talented women artists from the region, capturing the vibrant culture of Chennai when it was known as Madras: Yamuna Balasubramanian whose global exposure is reflected in her artwork, alluring realistic figures, landscapes and still life; Charanya Rajesh who loves to work in different mediums like watercolour, acrylic, and colour pencils while her favourite medium is oil painting and soft pastels; Subhashree Sridhar who finds her inspiration from the diverse culture and heritage of our country and is fascinated with oil medium and charcoals; Sushma Vinodh, acclaimed for her ethereal watercolour paintings; Sathya N Prabhu who draws inspiration from Indian myths and epics, and is currently experimenting with temple mural styles as a stand-alone series; and Gayathri Balaji, a devotee of realism and watercolours, and she manages G3Artstudio.

Ten-day gastronomic journey
The hotel’s all-day dining restaurant Mynt renowned for its mix of international cuisine and authentic regional home style delicacies, invites guests to embark on a Kaleidoscope of Tastes from the Hills to the Coast of Tamil Nadu. This specially curated menu is dotted with family recipes using home-style, hand-pounded spice mixes and traditional cooking techniques.
At its oriental restaurant Sian, guests can indulge in Asian Street food, complete with Schezwan specialties, skilfully balancing salty, sweet, sour, spicy flavours and the tingling sensation of Sichuan peppers!
The festivities extend to Wink, the Lounge on the lobby level offering special beverage mixes and an array of delectable bites.
